On January 10th, 2006, NORINCO invited some 20 government officials, experts and scholars in the field of export control to our company to try to work out a more effective way to strengthen ICP construction. Some of the attendees are policy-makers and overseers from Ministry of Commerce, General Administration of Customs and Commission of Science Technology and Industries for National Defense. Some are experts and scholars in various areas of export control.
The officials from Ministry of Commerce and China Arms Control and Disarmament Association briefed the situation of international arm control in 2005. The deputy-director of the ICP office in NORINCO introduced the work on ICP construction and the attendees gave a high appraisal on our work from various aspects. We believe this successful seminar will help improve our ICP construction.
