On February 27th, Wanbao Company and China Tianchen Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Tianchen Corporation) held the signing ceremony for the design contract for Burma Integrated Chemical Engineering Program. Li Jianmin, the president assistant of NHI and the general manager of Wanbao Company and Zhou Mingsheng, the vice chairman of Tianchen Corporation signed the contract on behalf of both parties respectively.
Burma Integrated Chemical Engineering Program is an EPC program that makes use of the preferential buyer loans provided by the Chinese government to Burma. The implementation of the program is subject to the supervision of related Chinese governmental organs and banks. The design plays a leading role in the program, representing one of the important steps to ensure the quality of the program. Taking into account suggestions from the bank experts, Wanbao Company made overall comparisons among design institutes and finally signed a contract with Tianchen Corporation after many rounds of negotiation. Tianchen Corporation (formerly known as the First Design Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry) is among the first design institutes in China that own "Class A" qualifications and has undertaken hundreds of domestic and foreign design and construction programs of chemical engineering lines, boasting very rich experience in design.
Such cooperation between Wanbao Company and Tianchen Corporation in Burma Integrated Chemical Program has realized alliance between giants. Both sides expressed that they would make every effort to cooperate with each other, guarantee the design quality and promote the smooth implementation of the whole program.
